Iranian Border Forces Continue Deadly Crackdown on Kolbars

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: On Monday, August 25, 2025 (3 Shahrivar 1404), a kolbar identified as Milad Tabad, son of Habib and a resident of Geliyeh village in the Central District of Mariwan County, was severely injured after being shot in the head by direct fire from Iranian armed forces at the Darki border area.

Sources informed Hana that the Iranian armed forces opened fire on this kolbar without prior warning, and a bullet struck him in the head, leaving him critically wounded.

The same source added that Milad Tabad was first taken to Bouali Sina Hospital in Mariwan for treatment, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to a hospital in Sanandaj.

Hana Human Rights Organization warns against the continued killing and injuring of kolbars by Iranian armed forces and stresses that such actions constitute a clear violation of the right to life and the principle prohibiting the arbitrary use of firearms against civilians.
