Internationale Network of Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights peripheral of an extended wave of arrests in Kurdistan

The international network of Iranian Kurdistan human rights has reported more than 86 arrests to the public in the last three weeks which took place in Iranian Kurdistan.

 

The arrests were made by the Islamic Republic government’s security forces these arrests had no legal bases and were executed without any proof or an order by a court it is also reported the detainees were transferred to unknown locations. Per our reports, Nine women were among the arrests and their names are archived at the international network of Iranian Kurdistan human rights.

Most of the detainees violently assaulted, disrespected, faced abuse and in most of the cases, their personal items including personal funds were taken away from them.

The detainees were from cities and villages of Piranshahr, Rawansar, Saqez, Mahabad, Sardasht, Bokan, Mariwan, Sanandaj, Rabat, Srudabad, and Naghadah.

According to the sources and reports by the international network of Iranian Kurdistan human rights so far three people have bailed out by providing warrantor documents and three of them received long-term imprisonment. At these difficult times the Iranian people are going through many problems of which economical crisis, unemployment, poverty, addiction, and etcetera many other social problems have surfaced in Iranian communities and to avoid any type of protest or frustration in Kurdistan the Islamic Republic government started arresting and detaining social activists.

The international network of Iranian Kurdistan human rights is expressing concerns regarding the situation of the detainees and asking the human rights organizations to help against these widespread attacks, arrests, and detentions of Kurdish citizens in Kurdistan, we ask not to be silent in these regards and help to free the detainees.
