According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the night of Monday, January 20, 2025, an 18-year-old Kolbar identified as “Saro Veisi” from Saqqez was severely injured following gunfire by the Border Regiment forces in Baneh.
Based on Hana’s sources, the Border Regiment forces stationed at the “Hangjal” border in Baneh targeted Saro Visi with a Kalashnikov rifle while he was carrying no load. He sustained serious injuries to his leg and was transferred to “Salah-e din Ayoubi” Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment.
