According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: Marivan education management in order to create terror among school teachers and prevent them from participating in gatherings, strikes and protests, on “27, 10, 2022” according to paragraph 33, article 8 of the Administrative Offenses Handling Law sent a complaint to the Administrative Offenses Council.
It should be noted that this accusation letter was sent to the teachers by the deputy of the council for handling administrative offences (Jaafar Azizi Far).
The charges have been sent to the teachers who have participated in the Marivan protests to inculcate and notify their accusicaion.
Accusation against teachers has been announced as follows:
1: Participation in educational sit-ins
2: Illegal strikes and protests
3: Failure to attend class
4: Encouraging students and people to participate in strikes and protests
5: Group pressure for illegal purposes.
It should be noted that, the teachers have been requested to submit their written defense and any relevant evidence to the Kurdistan province's Administrative Offenses Council of First Instance within 10 days from the date of the subpoena.
