Hersh Zandi Nawgaran, in a statement, thanked his friends and civil activists who came to see him off. Recalling memories of another political prisoner friend, who emphasized that Kermanshah is the heart of Kurdistan, he said: “I swear by the soil of Kurdistan, I will never leave this land.”
He also expressed, emphasizing the nature of his civil activism, his wish that people may live in such welfare that courts never have to open for anyone, and that prisons and prisoners become mere legends.
