According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Friday, October 24, 2025, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened fire—without prior warning—on a vehicle carrying two tradesmen in the border area of Sardaw, in Baneh County. As a result, one tradesman identified as Ebrahim Piranzad was killed, and another, Shaho Rostami, was injured.
Hana has learned that Ebrahim Piranzad, 32 years old, married, father of two, and a resident of Bilo village in Baneh County, died instantly after being struck in the heart by a live bullet.
According to Hana’s sources, following the shooting, Shaho Rostami suffered severe facial injuries and underwent surgery. He is currently hospitalized in the CCU ward of Salah-e din Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh. Rostami, 27 years old, married, father of one, is a resident of Kani Seyf village, also in Baneh County.
Hana’s sources added that the body of Ebrahim Piranzad was transferred to Salaha-e din Ayoubi Hospital, but as of the time of this report, it had not yet been handed over to his family.
