On Sunday, February 2, 2025, Goran Khodamoradi, a resident of Sanandaj from the village of Shiyan, was transferred to Sanandaj Prison to serve his sentence.
According to received reports, Khodamoradi had previously been sentenced by Branch 1 of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court to four years of suspended imprisonment and six months of actual imprisonment on charges of “collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party” and “propaganda against the regime.”
Khodamoradi was arrested by security forces on October 7, 2024, and was ultimately released temporarily on November 16, 2024, on a bail of 500 million tomans.
