According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Saturday, 27 December 2025, at least four tradespeople were affected by an avalanche in the Alwatan area, a subdivision of Sardasht County.
According to an informed source, two tradespeople, Khosrow Hamzehpour, 37, from Doleh Garmeh village, and Kamal Khezri, a married man with children from Alwatan village in Sardasht County, lost their lives in the incident.
The source added that two other tradespeople, both from Sardasht County whose identities have not yet been confirmed, were severely injured and transferred to medical centers to receive treatment.
