Farzad Hamidi was arrested on Saturday, January 25, 2025, by security forces at his parental home without the presentation of any judicial documents. His arrest was in connection with the strike by shopkeepers and merchants in various cities of Kurdistan, protesting the death sentences issued against Pakhshan Azizi and Vrisheh Moradi.
