According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Farshad Souri, a resident of Balu village in the suburbs of Orumiyeh, was arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Souri was detained at his home by intelligence agents without the presentation of any judicial warrant and subsequently transferred to the detention center of the Intelligence Department in Orumiyeh.
It is worth noting that since his arrest, Farshad Souri has been deprived of all his basic human rights, including access to a lawyer, as well as the right to contact or visit his family.
