According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, 19 February 2026, at around 14:30, a female citizen named Fariba Ghahremani, from Divandareh County, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
A knowledgeable source told the Hana Human Rights Organization that following her arrest, only a brief phone call was made to her family, during which the security forces asked solely about her medications.
Fariba Ghahremani, 44 years old, mother of a 12-year-old daughter and aunt of Arslan Ghahremani, a victim of the January 2026 protests, resides in Tehran.
It should be noted that, at the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reason for her arrest, her physical condition, or her place of detention.
