Fardin Moloudi’s medical needs are being neglected by judicial authorities as he is sentenced to five years of ta’zir imprisonment

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Fardin Moloudi, a detained citizen from Sanandaj, was sentenced by Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of the city, headed by judge Mostafa Azizi, to five years of ta’zir imprisonment on charges of “acting against national security.” This sentence was communicated to him on Friday, 28 November 2025, in Sanandaj Prison.

According to an informed source, Fardin Moloudi suffers from severe neurological and psychological disorders and, based on existing medical records, urgently requires specialized assessment and appropriate medical care. Despite this, although referring him to the Forensic Medicine Organization is a necessary and legal measure, no action has yet been taken by judicial authorities or prison officials to evaluate his mental health.

It is worth noting that Mr. Moloudi was arbitrarily arrested by security forces on 28 June 2025 and transferred to a security detention center. After one month of interrogation and without a transparent and fair judicial process, he was moved to Sanandaj Central Prison.
