According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, the death sentences of two prisoners—Ashkan Mahdipanah from Hamedan and Mehdi Heydari from Kangavar—were carried out in Hamedan Prison.
According to Hana’s sources, the two individuals had previously been arrested on charges related to drug offenses and were sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
