According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: on the morning of Wednesday, December 18, 2024, the death sentences of at least three prisoners were carried out in Qezel Hesar Prison, Karaj. The prisoners were identified as Sohrab Ahmadipour, 73 years old, from Kuhdasht; Majid Jamshidi, a father of one, from Nourabad; and Farzad Norouzi.
According to received reports, Sohrab Ahmadipour and Majid Jamshidi had previously been sentenced to death on charges related to “drug offenses,” while Farzad Norouzi was sentenced to death for premeditated murder by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is worth noting that over the past five days, at least 9 prisoners have been executed in various prisons across the Islamic Republic of Iran.
