According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
In the early hours of Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Akbar [Amir] Ebrahimi, son of Reza and a resident of Harsin in Kermanshah Province, was carried out in Karaj Central Prison.
Akbar Ebrahimi was married and the father of one child.
According to Hana’s sources, he had been arrested six years ago on charges related to drug offenses and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
