According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Friday, November 15, 2024, the execution of a prisoner identified as Amanj Azizi, son of Mohammad and a resident of Rabat in Sardasht County, was carried out in Orumiyeh Central Prison.
Mr. Azizi was married, originally from the village of Aghlan, and a resident of Rabat in Sardasht County.
According to Hana sources, this prisoner was arrested about eight years ago on charges of “drug-related offenses” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
