According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early morning of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the execution of a prisoner named Mehdi Khorami, a 20-year-old from Kangavar, was carried out at Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah.
According to Hana’s sources, this prisoner was arrested at the age of 17 on charges of murder and was sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
