According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
In the early hours of Monday, May 12, 2025, the execution of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Mehran Nasri Zar, son of Bahiyeh and Yadi, and a resident of Sanandaj, was carried out in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj without a final meeting with his family.
Mehran Nasri Zar was 30 years old and engaged to be married.
According to Hana’s sources, this prisoner was arrested three years ago on charges of murder and had been sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
