According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, a citizen identified as Ebrahim Karimpour, a member of the “Halu” mountaineering group in Saqqez, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Karimpour was detained at his workplace by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen.
