Diler Salimi remains arbitrarily detained, with his health being ignored

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Diler Salimi, 40, son of Abdulrahman, from Saqez County, who is being held in the Shahramfar detention center in Sanandaj, suffers from kidney problems. Despite the worsening of his health condition, the detention authorities have so far provided no medical care, causing serious concern for his family and relatives.

According to Hana’s sources, more than 127 days have passed since Diler Salimi’s arbitrary detention, yet he has been deprived of his basic rights, including access to a lawyer, as well as visits and contact with his family.

Mr. Salimi was arrested on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, by security forces on the Saveh road. Two days after his arrest, his wife, Zhila Tashakori, a resident of Saqez, was also detained at their home without presenting any judicial documents.

According to the report, Zhila Tashakori was temporarily released on bail after nearly two months in detention.

It is worth noting that despite repeated inquiries from the family, none of the security or judicial authorities have provided clear information regarding the reason for Diler Salimi’s detention or his health condition, which has caused serious concern for his family and relatives.
