Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that on Friday, January 9, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Omid Shojaeian, a resident of Kermanshah Province, lost his life during the popular protests in the city of Kermanshah as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
