According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (January 8, 2026), a Kurdish citizen identified as Loqman Alizadeh, married and a father of one, originally from the village of Goy Aghaj in Takab County and a resident of Karaj, was killed during the popular protests in Fardis, Karaj, as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Sources affiliated with Hana have also reported that Mr. Alizadeh’s son, identified as “Parsa,” who was accompanying him at the time of the incident, was wounded in the same attack.
It should be noted that Mr. Alizadeh’s body was handed over to his family in exchange for a payment of 400 million tomans, and he was laid to rest on 24 Dey 1404 (January 14, 2026) in his hometown, the village of Goy Aghaj.
