Danial Darabkhani a former political prisoner has been re-arrested by security forces

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, about two weeks ago, a Kurdish citizen identified as Danial Darabkhani—a former political prisoner from Kermanshah and a resident of Lahijan—was arrested by security forces.
According to the information obtained, following his arrest, Mr. Darabkhani was taken to one of the security detention centers in Lahijan for interrogation and was later transferred to the city’s prison.

Danial Darabkhani was previously arrested by agents of the Kermanshah Intelligence Department on March 9, 2018, following the December 2017 protests. After 28 days of interrogation in detention, he was transferred to Dizelabad Central Prison in Kermanshah.
A few months later, Mr. Darabkhani was sentenced to one year of ta’zir imprisonment by Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Kermanshah Province, presided over by Judge Shahrokh Moradi, on the charge of “acting against national security.”
