The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that more than 34 days after the arrest of Ebrahim Rostami, a citizen from the city of Kamyaran, he remains in a state of legal limbo and is being held in one of the security detention centers in Sanandaj.
According to received reports, Mr. Rostami was arrested by security forces on 9 January 2026 and subsequently transferred to a security detention facility in Sanandaj.
It is worth noting that despite the passage of more than 34 days since his arrest, this Kurdish citizen has been denied access to a lawyer and deprived of the right to contact or meet with his family.
