According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, more than one month after the arrest of Diako Rajabi, a 24-year-old from Sanandaj and a nutrition student at Zanjan University, there is still no precise information available regarding his condition or place of detention.
According to this report, Mr. Rajabi was arrested on the evening of 9 January 2026, after leaving his workplace on Saadi Street in the city of Zanjan, by security forces. Despite the passage of more than 30 days since his arrest, the detaining authority has refused to provide transparent explanations regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges brought against him, or his place of detention.
Based on available information, since the time of his arrest, he has been denied the right to contact his family and access to legal counsel.
It should be noted that the continuation of this situation has heightened concerns among his family and relatives regarding the possibility of physical and psychological pressure being exerted on him.
