Hana Human Rights Organization after receiving the news of the death of a political prisoner in Bukan Prison, conducted its own investigation, as a result we are providing new information as follows: (This is Hana’s second report in this regard.)
Hana's colleagues in Bukan city sent a report on the tragic death of a political prisoner in Bukan Central Prison (August 17, 2021), identifying the prisoner as "Shorsh Khezrzadeh", the son of Mehiedin and Halima from Bukan.
It is stated in this report; "Shoresh Khzerzadeh" was a worker in Iraqi Kurdistan some time ago and defended the Komala party on his Instagram page and was a supporter of this party, but after returning to Iranian Kurdistan, he was arrested on charges of membership in an Iranian Kurdish party. After being detained, he was transferred to the public ward of Uromiah Central Prison. Upon arrival at the prison, he informed the authorities of Bukan Prison of his serious physical condition, but during these two days the authorities did not take care of the citizen's illness, finally after two days Shorsh Khzerzadeh on (August 17, 2021) dies suspiciously and his lifeless body is transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Meanwhile prison security guard said; The death of "Shoresh Khzerzadeh" is suspicious. However, some prison officials have informed the family that Shoresh Khzerzadeh's death was poisonous due to goiter illness and that at the same time, we have transferred him to the hospital with a request for rebellion to deal with the disease. According to reports by Hana two days after Shorsh Khzerzadeh repeated calls for treatment, he died and his lifeless body was taken to hospital.
It should be noted; In the death awareness publication that has been published; stated that he died on August 19,2021, but infact he died on August 17, 2021, and this was most likely done under pressure from security agencies, Also until preparing this report, his body still at Bukan city Coroner.
