According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, 1 February 2026, Boroumand Azimi-Por, a resident of Kermanshah, an education teacher and a researcher in the field of history, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant while visiting the post office to collect books he had ordered, and was transferred to an unknown location.
Based on the information obtained, following his arrest, security forces raided his home without legal authorization. During the search, they confiscated several personal belongings, including books, handwritten notes, his mobile phone, and laptop.
