Bahman Naderi, a resident of Kermanshah, has been sentenced to imprisonment and a fine

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Bahman Naderi, a citizen of Kermanshah, has been sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah, presided over by Judge Javad Maleki, to one year of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 10 million tomans on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”

According to this report, the verdict was officially communicated to Bahman Naderi on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, IRGC intelligence forces raided Bahman Naderi’s home without presenting judicial documents, searched his residence, and arrested him. He was then transferred to the IRGC intelligence detention center in Kermanshah for interrogation.

After completing the interrogation process, Naderi was moved to Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah and was ultimately released temporarily on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, upon posting bail of 600 million tomans.

It is noteworthy that Bahman Naderi’s Instagram account was blocked under a judicial order due to his promotional activities.

Born in 1990, Bahman Naderi is married, a father of two, and a resident of Kermanshah.

Previously, Naderi was sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah to six months of imprisonment and a fine of 8 million tomans on charges of “propaganda against the regime.” The verdict was issued to him on Monday, April 15, 2024.

On September 12, 2023, in the lead-up to the anniversary of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolutionary movement of 2022, Naderi was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces. He was released temporarily after a week upon posting bail of 500 million tomans.

Additionally, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, Naderi was summoned to the Fourth Branch of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah. He was charged with “propaganda against the regime” for issuing a call on social media to boycott the elections. He was ultimately released temporarily after posting bail of 400 million tomans.
