At least three Kurdish citizens were arrested by security agencies in the cities of Bukan and Oshnavieh

Amid the continuing wave of widespread arrests of Kurdish citizens in various cities across Kurdistan by security agencies, at least three citizens from the cities of Bukan and Oshnavieh have been arrested and transferred to unknown locations.

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in the early hours of Thursday, 18 December 2025, two citizens identified as Obeid Souri, from Shin Abad village, and Mohammad Abasi, from Gogjali village, both from Bukan County, were arrested by security forces.

Additionally, on Monday, 15 December 2025, another citizen, identified as Moloud Khaledi, a 33-year-old from Mirabad village, Oshnavieh County, was arrested by the Intelligence Organization of the IRGC.

According to reports received, Mr. Khaledi was arrested at his family home by IRGC intelligence forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant.

It should be noted that, as of the time of publishing this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the place of detention of these three Kurdish citizens.
