Amid a continued wave of arrests in Abdanan, illam, at least six Kurdish citizens from this county were detained by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at least six citizens—Saeed Naderi, 35; Behzad Akbari, 35; Hossein Behnama, 27; Abolfazl Darbandi, 20; Yousof Khatavi, 34; and Saeed Yari, all from Abdanan—were arrested by security forces.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest or their place of detention.
