Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Sunday, 14 December 2025, the death sentences of at least four prisoners were carried out in different prisons across Iran. The executed prisoners were Mohammad Dinari from Kuhdasht in Arak Prison; Sadegh Abdi from Malayer in Qazvin Prison; Yaser Saki-Zadeh from Arak in Qom Prison; and Khalil Emkani in Bandar Abbas Prison.
According to Hana’s sources, Mohammad Dinari was arrested around three years ago, Yaser Saki-Zadeh about five years ago, and Khalil Amkani earlier, all on charges related to “drug offenses.” They were sentenced to death in separate cases by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Sadegh Abdi was also arrested on charges of “premeditated murder,” and following the completion of judicial proceedings, his death sentence was issued and carried out.
