The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Friday, January 9, 2026, a 35-year-old Kurdish citizen named Ashkan Bastar, from Kermanshah, lost his life during the popular protests in Fardis, Karaj, as a result of direct live-fire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It should be noted that the body of this Kurdish citizen was buried in Kermanshah on January 13, 2026.
