Hana: On Saturday, May 25, 2024, a Kurdish citizen identified as “Houshmand Moradi,” originally from Takab and residing in Tehran, was re-arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received reports, Mr. Moradi was arrested at his private residence by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant. The arrest was accompanied by beating and violence.
Houshmand Moradi had previously been arrested by security forces in Tehran during the Zhina Revolutionary Movement. He was detained and tortured for a month in an unknown location. Following his release, he was hospitalized in Tehran for nearly a month due to the injuries sustained.
