According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Ali Mohammadi, the father of Shahriar Mohammadi—one of the victims of the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” revolutionary uprising in the city of Bukan—was arrested by security forces.
Milad Mohammadi, Ali’s son, told Hana Human Rights Organization that the security forces arrested his father without presenting any judicial warrant and initially transferred him to Ward 2 of the Greater Bukan Prison. However, after one day, no inmates have seen him since.
Mr. Mohammadi also stated that plainclothes agents broke down the door of their family home, searched the house, and in the process damaged and confiscated the family vehicle and seized several personal belongings, including a computer and official documents.
He further emphasized that his father has a history of heart surgery and requires daily medication and constant medical care.
It is important to note that, as of the time of this report, there is no information available regarding the reasons for his arrest, his current whereabouts, or his legal status.
