According to reports from the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, two Kurdish citizens named Hejar Delsouz, 30 years old, and Osman Delsouz, 66 years old, from the village of Ziyouke, a suburb of Piranshahr, were arrested and transferred to Naqadeh prison to serve their prison sentences.
According to received reports, these two Kurdish citizens were sentenced to two years in prison each by Branch 102 of the Piranshahr Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Majid Amir Mohammadi, on charges of collaborating with one of the "Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" in a joint case.
Hejar and Osman Delsouz were arrested by security forces on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and were subsequently transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation.
