Arrest and transfer of Alan Mohammadi to Marivan Prison for the implementation of his prison sentence

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Monday, May 12, 2025, Alan Mohammadi, a 25-year-old kolbar from Marivan, was arrested and transferred to Marivan Central Prison to begin serving a five-year prison sentence.

According to an informed source, Mohammadi had previously been sentenced in April 2025 by the Marivan Revolutionary Court to five years in prison and a fine of six billion tomans.

This young kolbar had been severely injured on March 14, 2024, due to gunfire from Iranian border forces in the Hangiran border region of Marivan. He suffered serious kidney damage and was transferred to Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj, where he underwent surgery. After being discharged, he was arrested by security forces and later temporarily released on bail of 10 billion tomans.

Despite his critical health condition and his ongoing need for dialysis and physiotherapy, the implementation of his prison sentence has now begun.
