According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Monday, June 23, 2025, a 40-year-old Kurdish citizen identified as (E. J.), a married father of two from Saqqez, was arrested by security forces.
According to an informed source, he was arrested at his home without the presentation of a judicial warrant, and the arrest was accompanied by physical violence.
The source further stated that after several hours of interrogation and torture, the citizen was released upon signing a written pledge.
It is worth noting that the individual had previously been arrested by security forces during the Zhina (Mahsa) revolutionary uprising in 2022.
