Hana: Five Days After the Arbitrary Arrest of Vahab Alizadeh, His Whereabouts Remain Unknown
According to a report received by Hana Human Rights Organization, five days have passed since the arbitrary arrest of Vahab Alizadeh, a Kurdish resident of “Dokana” village in the Margavar region of Orumiyeh, and there is still no information available regarding his place of detention or current condition.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, Iranian security forces raided Alizadeh’s residence and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant. He was subsequently taken to an undisclosed location.
Hana has learned that during this period, Mr. Alizadeh has been allowed to make only one brief phone call to his family.
As of the time this report was published, the efforts of Vahab Alizadeh’s family to obtain information about the reason for his arrest and his whereabouts have been unsuccessful.
