According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Monday, August 18, 2025, police forces in Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, arrested five Kurdish youths identified as Arian Delaei Milan, Jafar Delaei Milan, Masoud Delaei Milan, Sattar Delaei Milan, and Baqer Delaei Milan.
According to a knowledgeable source, the five were driving when police stopped them due to their vehicle’s tinted windows. After issuing a fine, several officers verbally abused and humiliated them. The source added that the officers escalated the situation into verbal and then physical confrontations.
Hana’s sources reported that the youths were severely beaten during the arrest. According to received reports, the next day the officers paraded them through the city, humiliated them publicly, and then transferred them to Khoy Prison.
