According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in recent days, a Kurdish citizen identified as Ayoub Khosrozadeh, a resident of Bukan, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to the information received, security forces raided Mr. Khosrozadeh’s family home without presenting any judicial warrant. During the arrest, they physically assaulted his parents.
Following his arrest, Ayoub Khosrozadeh’s family approached security agencies in Bukan to inquire about his condition and whereabouts. While officials claimed that he had been transferred to a detention center in Orumiyeh, the family’s efforts to locate him there have been unsuccessful, and authorities in Orumiyeh have refused to provide any information.
This lack of information and the violent conduct of security forces have caused deep concern among Mr. Khosrozadeh’s family and those close to him.
Hana Human Rights Organization expresses serious concern over the continued arbitrary arrests and violations of basic rights, including the right to inform families and access to legal counsel.
