Arrest and Enforced Disappearance of a Couple from Saqqez

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a Kurdish couple identified as Deler Salimi (40 years old, son of Abdolrahman) and Zhila Tashakori (36 years old), both from Saqqez, were arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
Deler Salimi and Zhila Tashakori have a 13-year-old son.

According to a reliable source, Mr. Salimi was arrested on the Saveh Road by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
Ms. Tashakkori was also arrested two days later at her private residence, likewise without any judicial documentation.

The same source reported that during the arrest of Ms. Tashakkori, the security forces confiscated several personal belongings, including a tablet and their mobile phones.

Despite repeated inquiries by the couple’s family to obtain information regarding the reasons for the arrests, their whereabouts, and their health conditions, no response has been provided by the responsible security authorities, and the family remains in complete uncertainty about their fate.
