According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early morning of Friday, January 9, 2026, security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrested three members of a Yarsan family—Seyedeh Ghazal Shafiei, 23 years old, a tanbur musician and instructor; Seyed Farshad Shafiei, 45 years old; and Elham Mehrabi—in the city of Kerend-e Gharb, a district of Dalahu County in Kermanshah Province.
According to Hana’s sources, around 3:00 a.m., security forces raided the family’s residence and, without presenting a judicial warrant, arrested these individuals and transferred them to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of publication of this report, no information is available regarding the place of detention, legal status, or physical and psychological condition of these three citizens.
