Amirreza Mirzaei lost his life as a result of direct gunfire by repressive forces in Tehran

The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Amirreza Mirzaei, a 27-year-old Kurdish citizen from the village of Chowarrgav in Qorveh County and resident of Tehran, lost his life during the popular protests in Tehran as a result of gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Mirzaei, who owned a shop in Vavan together with his father, was shot in front of their place of business. His body was returned to his family one week after the incident.

According to informed sources, the family was forced to pay approximately 300 million tomans to receive his body. His funeral was held in Tehran under strict security supervision, with only a few close relatives present, and the authorities did not allow the body to be transferred to Qorveh.
