Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Amirali Jalilian, a 65-year-old Kurdish citizen from Eslamabad-e Gharb (Shabad), died on Thursday evening,8 January 2026 following direct gunfire by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to received information, amid the public protests in Eslamabad-e Gharb, he was wounded by gunfire and transferred in critical condition to a medical facility. After five days of hospitalization, he died in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
