Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, 9 February 2026, a Kurdish teacher identified as Ali Shamayeli, from Sonqor in Kermanshah Province, was arrested by security forces while on his way to school and transferred to an undisclosed location.
It should be noted that since the time of his arrest, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for his detention, his place of confinement, or his current fate.
