According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, amid the ongoing wave of arrests carried out by security agencies across various cities in Kurdistan, two citizens from Sardasht have been arrested by forces of the Ministry of Intelligence.
According to the received information, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Ako Azizi from the city of Rabat, a district of Sardasht, was arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces.
Sources informed Hana that the Intelligence agents used violence during the arrest of Ako Azizi and confiscated some of his personal belongings.
Furthermore, on the evening of Tuesday, October 28, a Kurdish citizen identified as Ayoub Rashi from the village of Parastan, a district of Sardasht, was also arrested by the Intelligence Ministry forces in Sardasht.
Both citizens were subsequently transferred to one of the security detention centers in Orumiyeh.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges brought against them.
