According to this report, a number of "dangerous crimes" prisoners of the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison beat a number of Sunni Kurdish prisoners in this ward under the pretext of "insulting the Muharram ceremony".
The prison officials, who were the driving force behind this incident, have also filed a case against a number of female Kurdish prisoners.
