After the start of the corona crisis and the closure of places for drug addicts, mass drug use can be seen every day in the main streets of Sanandaj.
Places such as Dawr Maidan (Revolution Square), Ferdowsi Street, which are considered to be the neighborhoods of the city center, have become hangouts for people addicted to narcotics that have disturbed the view of the city.

The presence of addicts has made me afraid that my children will go out alone, I am afraid that they will be distracted by seeing these people.
On the other hand, drug dealers operate unhindered and without any restrictions, and no action is taken by the security forces.
