Hana: Today, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, a Kurdish cleric with the identity of “Mamosta Seifollah Hosseini”, the Imam of Khatam Al Anbia mosque in Javanroud, was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment, 74 lashes, removal of clerical clothes and two years of exile to Ardabil by the Hamedan Special Clergy Court.
According to reports received; Mamosta Seifollah Hosseini was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment for propaganda against the regime, 6 years imprisonment for being a member of Kurdistan Qoran School, 2 years and 6 months imprisonment for insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic and the leader of the Islamic Republic, 6 years imprisonment for inciting people to disrupt the country's security, for disturbance in public order was sentenced to 15 months of imprisonment and 74 lashes and removal of clerical clothes and 2 years of exile to Ardabil.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, the government forces raided the home of Mamosta Seifollah Hosseini without a court order and broke the hand of his wife, Khatun Qaderi, during their entry.
