A kolbar loses a limb in a landmine explosion in Baneh

Hana: On Tuesday, October 15, 2025, a kolbar identified as Naser Rahimi, 40 years old, married, father of one child, and a resident of Manijlan village in Baneh, lost a limb after a landmine explosion while carrying goods across the border.

According to received reports, on October 8, 2025, in the border area of Hangehzhal, Baneh, Rahimi entered a mined zone while being chased by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military forces, who were firing directly at him. The explosion resulted in the amputation of his foot.

Naser Rahimi was first taken to Salah-e din Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment and, due to the severity of his injuries, was later transferred to a hospital in Sanandaj. He was discharged on Monday, October 14, after undergoing surgery.
